When we designed bagaboo's first messenger bag, we also took into account the past experiences of bicycle messengers. All straps, seams and fastenings are in a place that is most practical to use, but at the same time it can withstand the extreme stress of daily courier work.
On the messenger bag, you will also find a part that protects against rain - this is the raised part above the outer pocket. When you close the front of the bag, this layer completely blocks the path of rainwater at the corners of the bag, so water cannot seep into your bag.
In the messenger bag, you will find 6 pockets - inside, two smaller ones, open from the top, and one larger one, which can be closed with a Velcro fastener. The inner pockets are made of a mesh-like material with holes, so you can see what's in which one. On the outside, by opening the front of the bag, you have access to a larger and a smaller zippered pocket, and there is also a compartment open from the top, where we have created a pen holder. Of course, additional pockets for the bag can be selected as an option.
We sew a reflective strip to the lower part of the bag (which is best visible from the back when you are cycling), and here you will also find a small tab where you can clip a flasher. You will also find a cross strap on the bag, which connects the shoulder strap to one corner of the bag - if you fasten it and tighten it, the bag cannot cross over your shoulder or move around.
